Walla Walla Valley is a Washington and Oregon AVA established in 1984 under 27 CFR Part 9, centered on the city of Walla Walla in southeastern Washington with a portion extending into Oregon. The valley's warm, dry summers and cold winters create a continental growing environment. Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are the most prominent varieties in TTB COLA filings from this appellation.
