Rampante
Rampante is an Etna contrada that gives the encyclopedia a clear way to discuss elevation and cool-climate tension on an active volcano. Nerello Mascalese from such sites can be pale in color but firm in structure, with red fruit, flowers, herbs, smoke, and mineral detail. The name is a place cue that complements entries on Nerello Mascalese and Carricante.
Notable Rules
