Oiry is one of the Côte des Blancs Grand Cru villages and is primarily associated with Chardonnay. It may not be as famous to casual drinkers as Avize or Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, but it belongs to the same chalk-and-Chardonnay framework. The mental model is citrus, pear, white blossom, mineral tension, and a clean, linear base-wine profile.
