Monvigliero
Monvigliero is a Verduno MGA and one of the most useful names for explaining Barolo's aromatic range. The wines are often described as fragrant, red-fruited, spicy, and detailed, with tannin that can feel fine-grained rather than heavy. The entry belongs in a consumer encyclopedia because the name is increasingly visible on labels and wine lists.

Recent Langhe Nebbiolo vintages have been increasingly shaped by heat, drought, and abrupt rain patterns. For Barolo and Barbaresco crus, the safest corpus treatment is to carry a regional MGA-level note rather than pretend each named vineyard has a separate public vintage record.
