Cerequio
Cerequio is a well-known Barolo MGA whose label presence helps drinkers move from commune-level Barolo to vineyard-geography detail. The wines are usually discussed in terms of Nebbiolo perfume, red cherry, rose, spice, and firm yet graceful tannin. Cerequio does not change the grape requirement or DOCG identity; it narrows the origin to a named place.

Recent Vintages
Recent Langhe Nebbiolo vintages have been increasingly shaped by heat, drought, and abrupt rain patterns. Public Barbaresco and producer harvest notes describe 2022 as hot and dry, while 2023 brought a cool, rainy spring with downy-mildew pressure followed by hot, humid summer conditions and complicated ripening choices. For Barolo and Barbaresco crus, the safest corpus treatment is to carry a regional MGA-level note rather than pretend each named vineyard has a separate public vintage record.
