Cannubi
Cannubi is one of the most recognized named sites in Barolo and a useful entry point for understanding the MGA system. It sits above the village of Barolo and is associated with Nebbiolo that combines aromatic lift, firm but polished tannin, and classic notes of red cherry, rose, licorice, spice, and earth. For drinkers, Cannubi signals a specific place within Barolo rather than a separate grape or aging category.
