Bouzy
Bouzy is one of the classic Pinot Noir Grand Cru villages of the Montagne de Reims. It is often associated with power, ripe red fruit, body, and a firm structural backbone that can anchor blends or stand out in blanc de noirs. The village can also appear in discussions of still Coteaux Champenois rouge, because its Pinot Noir has historically been capable of ripeness and depth. For drinkers, Bouzy is a practical label signal for Champagne that leans more vinous and Pinot-driven than the steely Chardonnay villages of the Côte des Blancs.
Notable Rules
Grand Cru village under the échelle des crus tradition at 100%; village status is layered within Champagne AOC and does not impose a separate varietal rule.
