Aÿ
Aÿ is one of the most recognizable Grand Cru names in Champagne, located in the Grande Vallée de la Marne near Épernay. Its reputation centers on Pinot Noir that can bring breadth, red-fruit depth, and structural presence to Champagne blends. Chardonnay is also present, but the village is most useful to drinkers as a reference point for Marne-side Pinot Noir with both richness and chalk-based tension.
