Arcuria
Arcuria, sometimes rendered Arcurìa, is a named Etna contrada used for site-specific wines within the DOC framework. The name can appear on both red and white Etna wines, linking Nerello Mascalese and Carricante to a more precise volcanic origin. For drinkers, it is a clear example of why Etna labels increasingly resemble vineyard-geography labels elsewhere in Italy.
